As I look at my surroundings, I hear many things that people are saying that does not seem right with what I read in the Bible. This world is in the times that Yeshua told us about in the 24th chapter of Matthew. People are stockpiling foods, collecting weapons (this is not to say that we should not protect ourselves and our loved ones), and doing many other things as though they are preparing for war within this land and this world. This all brings these scripture verses to mind:
“No weapon made will prevail against you.
In court you will refute every accusation.
The servants of Adonai inherit all this;
the reward for their righteousness is from me,”
“You have heard that our fathers were told, ‘Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.’[Vayikra/Leviticus 24:20; D’varim/Deuteronomy 19:21] But I tell you not to stand up against someone who does you wrong. On the contrary, if someone hits you on the right cheek, let him hit you on the left cheek too! 40 If someone wants to sue you for your shirt, let him have your coat as well! And if a soldier forces you to carry his pack for one mile, carry it for two! When someone asks you for something, give it to him; when someone wants to borrow something from you, lend it to him.
Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord, in union with his mighty strength! Use all the armor and weaponry that God provides, so that you will be able to stand against the deceptive tactics of the Adversary. For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. So take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won, you will still be standing. Therefore, stand! Have the belt of truth buckled around your waist,[Yesha’yahu 11:5] put on righteousness for a breastplate,[Yesha’yahu 59:17] 15 and wear on your feet the readiness that comes from the Good News of shalom.[Yesha’yahu 52:7] Always carry the shield of trust, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the Evil One. And take the helmet of deliverance;[Yesha’yahu 59:17] along with the sword given by the Spirit, that is, the Word of God; Ephesians 6:10-17
Now I know that Adonai
gives victory to his anointed one —
he will answer him from his holy heaven
with mighty victories by his right hand.
If it seems bad to you to serve Adonai, then choose today whom you are going to serve! Will it be the gods your ancestors served beyond the River? or the gods of the Emori, in whose land you are living? As for me and my household, we will serve Adonai!” Yahoshua/Joshua 24:15
Yes, indeed! I tell you that whoever trusts in me will also do the works I do! Indeed, he will do greater ones, because I am going to the Father. 13 In fact, whatever you ask for in my name, I will do; so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me for something in my name, I will do it. “If you love me, you will keep my commands; 16 and I will ask the Father, and he will give you another comforting Counselor like me, the Spirit of Truth, to be with you forever. 17 The world cannot receive him, because it neither sees nor knows him. You know him, because he is staying with you and will be united with you. Yochanan/John 14:12-17
This means that unless we keep His commandments, the Torah, we will not see the Spirit of Truth, which is the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). Through all of this we will do greater works then Yeshua did because He is in us. Why are His works not being done today? Because many who say they believe in Yeshua refuse to do what He asked us to do in following all of His commandments, the Torah.
I had a dream/vision some time ago. What I saw was some miraculous things, believers were doing all that Yeshua did …
So he answered them by saying, “Go, tell Yochanan what you have been seeing and hearing: the blind are seeing again, the lame are walking, people with tzara‘at are being cleansed, the deaf are hearing, the dead are being raised, the Good News is being told to the poor[Yesha’yahu 35:5–6; 26:19; 61:1] — Luke 7:22
The dream/vision seemed very real, yet whatever I thought, and spoke, it happened. There were even catastrophes that were averted because the POWER of Yahweh was called down upon it. It seemed like, in my small mind, I was controlling what happened. It was not me doing it though, it was Yeshua doing these things through me and others. We are seeing Yeshua build an army of believers, it is not what this world believes it is. We are to TRUST in OUR FATHER YHWH, trusting in Him for everything.
No one can be slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to both God and money. “Therefore, I tell you, don’t worry about your life — what you will eat or drink; or about your body — what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds flying about! They neither plant nor harvest, nor do they gather food into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they are? Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to his life? “And why be anxious about clothing? Think about the fields of wild irises, and how they grow. They neither work nor spin thread, yet I tell you that not even Shlomo in all his glory was clothed as beautifully as one of these. If this is how God clothes grass in the field — which is here today and gone tomorrow, thrown in an oven — won’t he much more clothe you? What little trust you have! “So don’t be anxious, asking, ‘What will we eat?,’ ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘How will we be clothed?’ For it is the pagans who set their hearts on all these things. Your heavenly Father knows you need them all. But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Don’t worry about tomorrow — tomorrow will worry about itself! Today has enough tsuris already! Mattityahu 6:24-34
Do we not understand what the Tribulation is all about … the shaking is already here!!!
For you have not come to a tangible mountain, to an ignited fire, to darkness, to murk, to a whirlwind, to the sound of a shofar, and to a voice whose words made the hearers beg that no further message be given to them — for they couldn’t bear what was being commanded them, “If even an animal touches the mountain, it is to be stoned to death”;[Sh’mot/Exodus 19:12–13] and so terrifying was the sight that Moshe said, “I am quaking with dread.”[D’varim 9:19] On the contrary, you have come to Mount Tziyon, that is, the city of the living God, heavenly Yerushalayim; to myriads of angels in festive assembly; to a community of the firstborn whose names have been recorded in heaven; to a Judge who is God of everyone; to spirits of righteous people who have been brought to the goal; to the mediator of a new covenant, Yeshua; and to the sprinkled blood that speaks better things than that of Hevel. See that you don’t reject the One speaking! For if those did not escape who rejected him when he gave divine warning on earth, think how much less we will escape if we turn away from him when he warns from heaven. Even then, his voice shook the earth; but now, he has made this promise: “One more time I will shake not only the earth, but heaven too!”[Hagai 2:6, 21] And this phrase, “one more time,” makes clear that the things shaken are removed, since they are created things, so that the things not shaken may remain. Therefore, since we have received an unshakeable Kingdom, let us have grace, through which we may offer service that will please God, with reverence and fear. 29 For indeed, “Our God is a consuming fire!”[D’varim 4:24; 9:3; Yesha’yahu 33:14]
But you are a chosen people,[Yesha’yahu 43:20; D’varim 7:6; 10:15] the King’s cohanim, [Sh’mot19:6; Yesha’yahu 61:6] a holy nation, [Sh’mot 19:6] a people for God to possess![Yesha’yahu 43:21; Sh’mot 19:5] Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; before, you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. [Hoshea 2:25(23)]
Kefa Alef/1 Peter 2:9-10
Who among you fears Adonai? Who obeys what his servant says? Even when he walks in the dark, without any light, he will trust in Adonai’s reputation and rely on his God. But all of you who are lighting fires and arming yourselves with firebrands: go, walk in the flame of your own fire, among the firebrands you lit! From my hands this [fate] awaits you: you will lie down in torment. Yesha’yahu 50:10-11
These two verses above are asking who totally trusts in YHWH. In verse eleven, it mentions “arming yourselves”. We each need to ask ourselves, do I believe that I have to help YHWH in doing things? Or is it YHWH who helps us conquer immeasurable odds? Those who have ears, let them hear! “If anyone is meant for captivity, into captivity he goes! If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he is to be killed!”[Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 15:2, 43:11] This is when God’s holy people must persevere and trust! Chazon/Revelation 13:9-10
Then Adonai said to me, “Even if Moshe and Sh’mu’el were standing in front of me, my heart would not turn toward this people! Drive them out of my sight, get them out of here! 2 And when they ask you where they should go, tell them that this is what Adonai says: ‘Those destined for death — to death! Those destined for the sword — to the sword! Those destined for famine — to famine! Those destined for captivity — to captivity!’ Yirmeyahu 15:1-2
Then this word of Adonai came to Yirmeyahu in Tachpanches: “With the men of Y’hudah watching, take some big stones, and set them with mortar in the pavement at the entry to Pharaoh’s palace in Tachpanches. Tell them: ‘This is what Adonai-Tzva’ot, the God of Isra’el, says: “I will summon N’vukhadretzar the king of Bavel, my servant, take him and set his throne on these stones I laid here; he will come and spread his royal canopy over them. He will come and attack the land of Egypt. Those destined for death — to death! Those destined for captivity — to captivity! Those destined for the sword — to the sword! I will light a fire in the temples of the gods of Egypt, and he will burn [those gods] or take them captive. He will fold up the land of Egypt like a shepherd folding up his cloak, and leave there victorious. He will also break the standing-stones of the temple of the sun in the land of Egypt and burn to the ground the temples of the gods of Egypt.”’” Yirmeyahu 43:8-13
IF we do go into captivity, it will be to spread the Word of YHWH. It is not for any of us to die by the sword.
We are a CHOSEN PEOPLE, A HOLY NATION, SPIRITUAL WARRIORS, PRAYER WARRIORS, being prepared for battle against demonic forces. Know who you are and get right with YHWH by doing what He said and keep His commandments, the Torah.

This shows that we need to know what is in the Tanakh, aka the Old Testament, to understand what is in the B’rit Chadashah, aka the New Testament.
- Seventy Weeks? Many teachers of the B’rit Chadashah teach that Y’shua’s Good News Ministry was 3 to 3 1/2 years long. This may not be true according to what is written.
