Is It Possible We Have Been Duped?



The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. Revelation 16:12 (NIV) We have been taught that this group of kings are adversaries to Yah’s will. We are presenting an alternative possibility based on scripture. Please consider all the information used and pray for guidance and discernment. Remember we are offering this teaching, as with all our other teachings, so that you can ponder what we are presenting.

Traditionally instructors have told us the kings of the east are China or some other country. However we are endeavoring to show an alternative option as the potential answer. This will be based on sections of the Prophet Yesha’yahu/Isaiah’s writings. As our teachings are of a two house perspective, please keep in mind, the two are the house of Isra’el and the house of Y’hudah. Those who are not familiar with two house teaching, there is a plethora of material available from various teachers all using scripture as their reference source.

Yesha’yahu lived in the time period during which the Northern Kingdom (The house of Isra’el) was allowed to be exiled by Assyria. Ironically the Prophet Hoshea also lived in this same time frame, and the last king of the house of Isra’el was named Hoshea too. The name Hoshea is from the Hebrew root dealing with Salvation. Though these two prophets each lived in a different kingdom, most of their proclamations pertained to the Northern Kingdom and deal with the eventual restoration between the two kingdoms.

We now will begin to look into the eleventh chapter of Yesha’yahu And a Rod shall come forth from the stump of Yishai, and a Sprout from his roots shall bear fruit. The Spirit of יהוה shall rest upon Him – the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of יהוה, and shall make Him breathe in the fear of יהוה. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears. But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and shall decide with straightness for the meek ones of the earth, and shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and slay the wrong with the breath of His lips. And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and trustworthiness the girdle of His waist. Yesha’yahu 11:1-5 (ISR98) Interestingly Yesha has to do with Salvation also, notice Yeshua is derived from the same root. Now we see how these names are so important to understanding what the Salvation is going to be.

Knowing which prophets of Yah are speaking to the house of Isra’el and their rebellious actions will clear up misunderstandings concerning the restoration of the two kingdoms into one. Eli’yahu and Elisha are Northern Kingdom Prophets and this helps us to comprehend why the Pharisees and the Cohenim wanted to know if Yochanan the Immerser was Eli’yahu. How many realize that Eli’yahu and Elisha are the pattern that the Jews were looking for in regard to Mashiach’s coming? This is because they were awaiting the reunion between the two parts of the family. Why do you think the Jews still set a place for Eli’yahu at the Pesach meal? Look, I will send to you Eliyahu the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible Day of Adonai. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers; otherwise I will come and strike the land with complete destruction.” Mal’akhi 3:23-24 (4:5-6) (CJB)

Elisha also has to do with being rooted in Salvation and that is why he and Eli’yahu are tied together. This is the reason the Pharisees and the Cohenim wanted to know if Yochanan the Immerser was Eli’yahu. They saw Yochanan as the first Mashiach who would precede the second Mashiach, the deliverer.

Mal’akhi 3:24 (4:6) is probably the basis for the prodigal son parable. Also the fathers referred to here are Avraham, Yitz’chak, and Ya’akov, the children are the descendants of Isra’el. When we look at the parable with this information in mind, it makes sense why Yochanan was perceived to be Eli’yahu. Likewise Y’shua’s own statement that Yochanan was Eli’yahu also means Y’shua was an Elisha, as Elisha means that Eli is Salvation. Consider also another statement Y’shua makes “Eli! Eli! L’mah sh’vaktani? (My God! My God! Why have you deserted me?)” Mattityahu 27:46b (CJB) as he is providing the redemption price for the LOST SHEEP OF THE HO– USE OF ISRA’EL. Does this put a different perspective on Y’shua and what he said?

PeopleDividedIn that day the root of Jesse, who standeth for an ensign of the people, him the Gentiles shall beseech, and his sepulchre shall be glorious. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand the second time to possess the remnant of his people, which shall be left from the Assyrians, and from Egypt, and from Phetros, and from Ethiopia, and from Elam, and from Sennaar, and from Emath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up a standard unto the nations, and shall assemble the fugitives of Israel, and shall gather together the dispersed of Juda from the four quarters of the earth. And the envy of Ephraim shall be taken away, and the enemies of Juda shall perish: Ephraim shall not envy Juda, and Juda shall not fight against Ephraim. But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines by the sea, they together shall spoil the children of the east: Edom, and Moab shall be under the rule of their hand, and the children of Ammon shall be obedient. And the Lord shall lay waste the tongue of the sea of Egypt, and shall lift up his hand over the river in the strength of his spirit: and he shall strike it in the seven streams, so that men may pass through it in their shoes. And there shall be a highway for the remnant of my people, which shall be left from the Assyrians: as there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. Yesha’yahu 11:10-16 (DRA)

Since Yishai (Jesse) had been dead, for over a century, when Yesha’yahu states that Yah is promising a heir will come from Yishai to be a standard for people and nations (Goy/gentiles). Then this prophecy has to be future tense, since David and his sons had not fulfilled this promise. The “root” is the Hebrew word שרש – Sh’resh, which has to also do with a heel; Then the Lord God said to the snake: Because you have done this, cursed are you among all the animals, tame or wild; On your belly you shall crawl, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; They will strike at your head, while you strike at their heel. B’reshit 3:14-15 (NABRE)

Verse ten of Yesha’yahu chapter eleven is directly leading into what Yah says in verse eleven, which means that this is still in our future as the stock of Yishai also refers to Jews who are his descendants. Based on the fact that verse eleven is concerning the redemption of the house of Isra’el. Verse twelve explains that Yah will send a signal to the nations informing them that the banished Ten Tribes (Northern Kingdom) will be assembled along with the dispersed (diaspora) house of Y’hudah. The gathering will be from the four corners (all over) of the earth.

Efraim and Y’hudah will cease to envy and harass each other and they will join forces and defeat the enemies who wish to eliminate the entirety of Isra’el. This war will free the remaining tribes to begin to return to the homeland. This return is what is described in Yesha’yahu, chapter eleven, verses fifteen and sixteen. Are these two verses revealing that many of the Ten Tribes will not return home until Efraim and Y’hudah make up? Could this possibly mean that Efraim predominantly is geographically west of the promised land as most of the prophecies allude too? Yesha’yahu 9:18-20 point to the conflicts between Efraim and M’nashah and their combined animosity towards Y’hudah, which will be resolved in order for Yesha’yahu, chapter eleven, verses twelve through fourteen, to take place. If this is the pattern that the Greater Exodus will follow, it would correlate to how Y’hoshua sent the tribes in when they first possessed the land. Remember Y’hoshua was of the tribe of Efraim and Kalev was of the tribe of Y’hudah and the later were the first to possess their portion of the land. Eliminating religious dogma and using scripture as the instruction manual, Y’hudah is already fulfilling first entrance protocol and we are awaiting the next step which according to the Prophets will be Efraim stepping in next.

Following the road-map established by Torah and the Prophets, tribes will enter most likely by the same pattern, or similar, to first time. All the tribes entered the land from the east side of the Yarden/Jordan, so as to Yesha’yahu, chapter eleven, verses fifteen and sixteen, B’reshit 35:11 (ESV) And God said to him, “I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body.”, the kings are descendants of Ya’akov. Based on this analogy, are the kings of the east in Revelation 16:12 are actually referring to Ya’akov’s line? Using this thought line, Revelation 16:13 appears to introduce a new element differing from what verse twelve says.

If Revelation 16:12 is separated from verses thirteen through fifteen, then verses sixteen through eighteen are describing events similar to Sh’mot/Exodus 19:16 (ISR98) And it came to be, on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain. And the sound of the ram’s horn was very loud, and all the people who were in the camp trembled., and M’lakim Alef 19:11:13 (ISR98) And He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before יהוה.” And see, יהוה passed by, and a great and strong wind tearing the mountains and breaking the rocks in pieces before יהוה – יהוה was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake – יהוה was not in the earthquake, and after the earthquake a fire – יהוה was not in the fire, and after the fire a still small voice. And it came to be, when Ěliyahu heard it, that he wrapped his face in his robe and went out and stood at the cave opening. And see, a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Ěliyahu?”

torah_thumbAs the scenario presented above has been examined, keep in mind all material has been subjected to our current understanding of Yah’s Ways. We continue to seek guidance and direction through the Ruach HaKodesh for more understanding. The Torah is the foundation stone, represented by Y’shua, which all knowledge and discernment are based for our teachings. Submitting the aforementioned information, consider this a reasonable theory pertaining to the opening verse of this presentation. Remembering all wisdom and knowledge comes from Yah.

So when dealing with anyone inside or outside the B’rit/Covenant, we best display the image of Yah by living and behaving humbly toward others. This does not mean we allow them to beat us up and we are not to beat them up. Tribulation produces patience as our brother Sha’ul wrote.

Kefa/Peter was looking for a specific answer from Yah and did not get it. This shows that we need to know what is in the Tanakh, aka the Old Testament, to understand what is in the B’rit Chadashah, aka the New Testament.
  • Seventy Weeks? Many teachers of the B’rit Chadashah teach that Y’shua’s Good News Ministry was 3 to 3 1/2 years long. This may not be true according to what is written.
  • Are You READY? Why do so many people fear what lies ahead of us? Are we not supposed to TRUST in Yah?
